Overview

Logistics team member is required to perform all types of logistics tasks, which may include but is not limited to:

Responsibilities

Receiving, pulling parts from stock and detrashing, packing, stocking, shipping, loading trucks, tooling and property control activities, audits and cycle counts of material, operating pallets jacks and forklifts, performing interplant deliveries and maintaining an orderly warehouse environment. Also includes all computer transactions for above tasks. Interface with internal customers on a daily basis. Pack and ship parts per Packaging and Handling Instructions so that they will not be damaged while in transit. Work must be performed safely, with minimal oversight required and few errors. Perform all other duties as required. Dependable attendance, overtime, and weekend work are required.

Qualifications

  • Must have experience in logistics operations and in use of database type warehousing software.
  • Must show verification of forklift and powered pallet jack competence, and be literate in basic computer operations.
  • Must be able to read and write legibly, maintain accurate records, and have sound communication and basic math and analytical skills.
  • Must be able to interface well in a customer focused team environment with teammates and customers.
  • Must be able to work safely and independently with few errors.
  • Must be able to work standing or sitting for extended periods and be able to lift, push and pull up to 28 pounds using safe methods.
  • Experience with research and issue resolution related to inventory management.
  • Experience with PRISM
