Overview

The SharePoint Administrator would be responsible for the daily operations the project sharepoint site, including monitoring availability and performance, as well as supporting end-user requests for creating and managing sites and content within the SharePoint platform. This person works closely and in alignment with the system Architect to validate that the design and implementation of the platform is consistent and following standards and best practices. •Serve as a technical analyst for commercial product integration architecture, design, implementation, operationalization and interface decisions related to Select Medical systems •Support operational processes to manage solution configuration, versioning and environment release management. •Work with the Devteam members and the business organization to support. •Support feasibility assessments and ramifications of new business requirements; support design of appropriate solutions and offer input to alternative approaches when necessary. •Oversee creation of component-level specifications based on provided page designs •Help identify and support resolution on project risks in all phases of work •At necessary junctures, support demonstrations of completed functionality and train end-users on performing their duties in the system

Responsibilities

•Strong knowledge and exposure to multiple versions of SharePoint, including SharePoint 2010, 2013 and 2016 • 2+ years of experience with designing and deploying Microsoft SharePoint solutions •Experience creating and managing Web Presentation, Site Collections, Sites, Subsites and SharePoint Content •Experience migrating/upgrading SharePoint version and restructuring content •Highly organized and self-motivated with a passion for technology integration, system and process efficiency, maximized solution supportability and fiscal management effectiveness •Demonstrated proficiency in supporting the identification, design and implementation of high performing, feature rich, service oriented technical solutions maximizing the investment in commercial product technology •Demonstrated proficiency in supporting identification, design and implementation of highly efficient operational processes that support the delivery of IS solutions, including (but not limited to) configuration management, project/portfolio management, demand management, collaboration and tactical reporting. •Demonstrated competency with system, service and solution integration, reusability and operational efficiency. Demonstrated understanding of architectural design principles leveraging industry best practices. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated capabilities presenting technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders. •Capable of performing in highly collaborative team environments •Supporting driving consensus amongst stakeholders across functional areas by presenting logical cases with define business benefit. •Self-learner that continually advances personal awareness, skills and capabilities. •Awareness of traditional SDLC model as well as Agile development methodologies • U.S. Citizenship required, but no security clearance required

Qualifications

EDUCATION •College Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience required.
