The University Relations Recruiter possesses front line recruiting knowledge, skills, and abilities. The successful candidate will utilize the recruiting industry's latest networking tools to implement and track applicants throughout the full recruiting life cycle and achieve results. The scope of this role is diverse and represents a key element in the overall talent acquisition strategy to attract and retain the most qualified individuals in a wide range of discipline assignments. As part of the Human Resources function, the position works closely with Human Resources counterparts to attract talent to University Programs as well as the Engineering Function. In addition, the University Relations Recruiter will be responsible for engaging internal and external business partners in order to achieve results, including increasing the human capability and capacity at our company.
The primary responsibility involves driving the end-to-end recruiting process for university positions, including Internship. Activities include: - Cultivating and sustaining strong relationships with the business to understand hiring needs - Conducting candidate screening - Providing recommendations to the hiring manager on selection of finalist candidates - Preparing and extending candidate offers and following-up to ensure appropriate on-boarding procedures - Respond to candidate inquires about the overall University Relations program
Required Skills: • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline and a minimum of 2 years related recruiting experience • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems • Candidate pre-closing and closing skills with proven ability to determine viable prospects • Experience managing assignments by providing on-going documentation and status to stake-holders Desired Skills: • Understanding of employment law principles • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems, such as Kenexa BrassRing • Understanding Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) principles • Experience delivering training to business partners • PHR , SPHR Certification; Boolean Algebra technique certification i.e., AIRS • Demonstrated creative problem solving ability and excellent teamwork skills • Demonstrated relationship building, client management and influencing skills
