PC Technician with at least 5+ years’ experience to provide technical support for a fast-paced 7x24, self-supporting manufacturing environment at the Lemmon Ave site, Dallas, TX. Duties will consist of PC deployment for lease/refresh cycle, troubleshooting, PC and printer break/fix, software/hardware installs, moves, additions, changes, and deletions to corporate PCs. Some travel to the McKinney Rapid Response shops will also be required at times.
Basic Qualifications: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10 Operating Systems PC Deployment experience using latest OS delivery method provided by RMS/GBS. Able to use various software/troubleshooting tools in the Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 10, and Office 2013 environment. Assist customers in configuration, retrieval of data files and reinstallation after a reimage/deployment. Experience with both desktop and laptop hardware and associated troubleshooting. Ability to configure Connected backup software for laptops. Understand and be able to deploy/troubleshoot BitLocker on both laptops and desktops. General knowledge in networks to include basic TCP/IP understanding, DNS, DHCP and Microsoft Windows Active Directory environments. Preferred Associates degree IT related. Basic iPhone use and troubleshooting Experience with Outlook Familiarity with the current RTNSecure PC , deployment and troubleshooting.
