entry level operators to work in a captive metal-finishing shop (anodizing, plating, chemical cleaning, masking, and/or painting) that supports the manufacture of detail parts and lower level assemblies.
Successful candidates will display:
a. Willingness to train on first shift for 4 to 12 weeks and then to work on any of three shifts as dictated by business needs,
b. The ability to demonstrate task proficiency within 3 months,
c. Willingness to adhere to established, proven manufacturing processes
d. Ability to work within a world-class safety environment
e. Basic math and computer skills
f. The ability to work with a variety of hand tools – both powered and manual
g. The ability to pass annual respirator physicals, maintain personal protective equipment, and will be expected to maintain annual training requirements as needed.
Candidates with experience in any of the following fields is preferred:
a. Industrial or manufacturing painting experience (paint or powder coat application using spray equipment in an industrial process).
b. Plating, anodizing, painting, or metal finishing shops
c. Industrial waste treatment facility (metal reduction, precipitation, and filtration processes)
d. Aerospace part marking/symbolization utilizing silk screens, rubber stamp, stencil, to identify parts and assemblies.
